I found this site the other night by doing a google search for small DIY campers.Been looking around on the forums. Man you guys have created some works of art!
I am looking more for building a 4 person sleeper, with a window unit for a/c. Just a basic sleeping module on wheels , storage spot for a microwave would be nice. We have been tent campers for along time, so storage for the rest of goodies is intact.
I am much more comfortable with welding than wood, so I was thinking about framing the camper with 3/4x.065 wall square tubing and add siding from there.

Welcome to the madness! What part of Texas are you from?

If you haven't already, swing by the South Central section of the forum. It lists gatherings in our neck of the woods. I've been to a few to get ideas for my build. (One of these days I'll be finished.)
