Friday night - Wine & Cheese party - bring finger foods and a bottle of your favorite wine (or whatever)

Saturday night-pitch-in dinner

Bob & Vicky - "Monster Meat Loafs - Bread
Kurt - Dutch Oven Pot Roast w/ carrots, potato & onions
Mark & Pat - Dutch oven potato casserole with kielbasa sausage and onions
Scott & Amy - Spanish Pork Chops - chocolate/yellow birthday Cake

I had a feeling when I signed up for fruit salad, I may be getting a reputation. I have some whipped cream left over that I'll have to bring for sure. And some bananas. If the icecream gets made, y'all can make banana splits !!

The dog is Bella the Beast (she's a mini doxie who is still getting used to sharing campgrounds) ~~

Gonna take off the 8" ties and reinstall the 12" ones and change the oil in the truck.

Gonna take Harvey's ("nobody") good idea and reinforce the HF tongue on chubby.

Ahh so much to do to be ready, I don't even have plates on the camper. they're expired. They were in Jan also I had my brothers popup plates on it

Working On cabinet doors in the galley also. That will be a change after 4 years. You suppose one day I'll get this done.

But I'm So Ready To Camp

Just heard from indyscott, I Pm'd him and he's from Brownsburg. I extended an invite to come down and visit us.

Just put our order in for the Scotty yesterday after they OK'd a few mods we wanted done during production! We're going with a "custom made" retro HiLander, as we asked if they could put a black & white checkered vinyl floor and an aqua boomerang design for the counter & table tops. So from an interior aspect, ours will be one of a kind & will make the interior just as retro as the exterior.

And even better news! The GM at Serro Scotty told us Friday he's got one they've already started which they could earmark for us, which *could* cut our finish date to (drumroll) 3 weeks!! SO, there's still a chance Spring Mill will be our maiden voyage. I could really anticipate the weekend as follows: We drive from Indy in the morning to the bank, then up to Elkhart, pay for the HiLander, hitch up, head for Spring Mill by nightfall. And if that's the way it plays out, forgive us if we back it in and go straight to bed! We'll hopefully get a better idea of where things stand by the end of this coming week.
