Ohhhh yes they are. Very Much so. Cuddly too.

So precious. Incredible how quickly puppies mature. About 14-16oz at birth, double that a week later and an additional pound a week for sometime after. Eyes and ears open at two weeks, quickly crawling and then walking clumsily at three weeks and running awkwardly at four weeks.

Puppyhood is zoom-zoom, nap-nap, zoom-zoom, eat-eat and more sleep-sleep. They are a joy to be around.

I'm driving up to Niagara Falls next weekend with a friend to pick up a 5 month old Samoyed female. The breeder lives in Canada and is bringing her across the border to meet us.

We'll have Gidget and my friend's male Sammy in the car. Should be quite the yappy road trip!
