Looks more like an equipment hauler... unless you are less than 4' tall.

I saw it on CL and had to post it because if your a child size or a lil short of stature, 2 ft or more will be sticking out of the end of it and will be getting a lil wet if it rais!!!

Yet another Idea has been born.

What if the floor pulled out 4' on 3 stage HD equipment slides.
The roof was folded forward in transit and flipped back when parked to make 8' your normally closed rear doors become side doors when extended and the last 1 foot of the extenda floor has a shallow 1' deep galley wall that stores just inside the rear doors when shoved in. The roof would rest on the galley wall leaving the doors free to swing to allow entry to the 4x7 sleeping area when extended. A double cross tube at the rear acts as frame in front with a bumper immediatly behing this rear frame member. That bumper hinges out 2' from each frame side rail to support the floor when extended.

Damn it ! Yet another gotta prove it to myself project.
Growing older but not up !

Oh no!

They solved that "problem" by installing the screen room tent with the solid top panel...no rain, no bugs!

Seems it would be a lot easier to just buy a tent...and put up a cot...

Hmmm. I'm likely to need equipment hauling more often than actual camping. And, for personal security, sleeping inside the car can feel safer. (My MINI Cooper Clubman, being 10-12" longer, can sleep me in the back, though not fully stretched out straight.) I might just get this unit, and sell my teardrop! Lets go see if it's still available.

You'd have to make the main box 5' long, because the doors are only 2' wide each. That would give you your 7' walls, but still leave the 1' galley with no sides or hatch.
