One More Time....HiFolks

Postby KT » Mon May 03, 2010 6:19 pm

Well, I never give up and thought I'd try one more time to say HI FOLKS!
I'm from the Northeast. Let's see, I'm looking to get, build, buy a Teardrop. I have always wanted one and just think they are so darn CUTE and everyone I've ever met that has one are always friendly and fun to be around. I breed apart from the traditional RV folks, although Rv folks are great too

I'd like to know where in the northeast one could buy a shell on a trailer with inside walls finished. I wish I could build one from the start, but my hub says no. That's fine. So any ideas ,great and thanks, and Oh ya, if you just want to say Hi...Thats real nice too!
Hope all is well, and remember our VETS!

Well greetings from the North Shore. A number of the teardrop manufacturers make a stripped out/cargo version that is in essence a shell. http://www.microlitetrailer.com might well be my choice as best balance between light weight and well built.

Another Greeting to you. While I was born in Riverhead, NY and lived in Newburgh for Seven years, I am of no help to you on your questions, but just wanted to say welcome. And success on your build, buy or whatever your going to do.

Upstate NY right? I'm from Maine but I'll be attending, for the first time, what seems like a really nice Teardrop gathering. You don't have to have a camper to attend. It's three days in June. If you currently tent or have another rv you should come. It's in eastern upstate NY. Here's the link to their site.

So nice to get some HI's from folks. I never did that before, don't think I'll do it again. I use to be on some other sites and couldn't figure out why this time I only had 1 HELLO the first time.

Well, I believe when things good happen to me, I must pass it on so as soon as I get through, I'll check the other Newbies and say Hi! :D

I live in a beautiful area and there is a lot of secret great places to camp, fish kayak canoe and flyfish. Oh ya, any flyfisherfolks out there. I just started two years ago and love it!
Well once again, hope all is well!!

Well, you signed in Saturday. Everyone was out enjoying the nice weather teardropping. :) Welcome to the wacky world of teardrop trailers. Maybe Len will stop by, He's in PA and builds a basic teardrop for a fare price.

HI, I am new here to and just bought my teardrop. I bought a Little Guy and all it is the shell, not even a mattress. I am sure you will find many different brands that you can order just the shell.
I would love to have built my own but just don't have that much patience.

Hi and welcome from one newb to another. :)

We're gonna attempt to build our first one. We've finally got the frame - 3rd time's a charm (we'd earmarked 2 prev. dates to pick it up and ran out of time).

Anyway, think you'll enjoy this venture and this forum - it's a whole 'nother world. Good luck...Darlene

Hello and welcome to the site. I am a newbie myself and last year I was so in love with the shape and design of teardrop trailers I just had to have one.
Not being as gifted and talented as most of the others here I bought one. This served my desire to have one but not the desire to build one myself. Which I am hoping to do this winter.
No matter what type of Tiny Trailer you get or if you just want to look at them and meet some very wonderful people you should go to some of the gatherings in your area, after that you will be addicted for life
Once again....WELCOME :D
