I'm pondering a teardrop, not for camping but for quiet and solitude so I can pass my summer classes. I've been thinking the past two years about building a tiny house, but put it off too long. Love the household I'm in, but after two years of tying to make it work I know I can't study at home and pass classes. I trying to learn as much as I can as quickly as I can. I'm also kicking myself for passing up a stand up teardrop when I had the chance last year.

I love to "hide" in my teardrop. When I need a time out I get in and read, nap and dream.

Sounds like an idea, a study chrysalis. I was fortunate when I went for my second degree, we had an empty nest and blessed silence.

...its a 6x8 flatbed trailer. He's asking $200.00 for it. Likely someone will get it before I can get back. Are some trailers better to build on than others or would I be farther ahead to work with friends here who wield and make my own?

(I inherited my dad's wielder, but know nothing about wielding - but think I could learn if I needed to quickly)
