Harbor Freight trailer $259

Postby legojenn » Tue May 04, 2010 11:55 pm

I got some hf coupons in my email today. They have a coupon for their 1195lb trailer on for $259 until May 9. It's a shame that I won't be in the US until the 12th, but I am excited that they just opened a store in Watertown.

It's funny. I've never heard of the place until I joined this site, now I can't wait to visit one.

Some times anticipation is the best part of the journey.

When I bought my first h/f trailer, I had to drive 120 miles to the store to get it in 2004. Then they opened one up about 30 miles away... 1 year ago, they opened one up 6 miles away.... There is a god.

same thing with home depot.. we now have a lowes 2 miles away... saves a lot of travel time, and "oh, crap, I forgot to buy the ??? and now I'll waste another hour"...

re the trailer... have a friend buy it for you...

:) I'm years away from building my td, so I'm sure that the HF will be on sale again.

I bought my Motomate because it weighs a mere 350lbs. It makes it easy to tow with my manual Aveo, and I am new to towing, so I am not quite prepared to deal with issues. That Aveo is due for replacement in *ONLY* four years, so I'll start building later.

I was just in HF today. They had the 1750LB trailer with 12" 5 lug tires on sale for $359.00. With a 20% off coupon it's only $287.00. The 1195 lb trailer was marked $259.00. The sale was good till May 27th.
