I want to pass along something I do to ease trailer moving... I usually attach a piece of 1/2" dia. rope about 6' long to the trailer tongue to move the trailer around (pulling). I have a wheel jack and usually am on solid ground/concrete/asphalt.... It saves my back.
While some have a real need for a dolly, to me it would just be another $$ item taking up valuable garage space and seldom used. Yes, they are nice, and it would be a bit easier with bigger wheels, but my way works for me. And in defense of a dolly, it does give better directional control. But, I have enough space so that isn't a problem.
