Gettin' close, Woody!!!!! We are REALLY looking forward to seeing this park. Let's see, we've been to the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, the Grand Canyon of Colorado and now the GC of Texas!! Never been to the actual Grand Canyon though

Looks like some other people are ready to go camping also. We can't wait get there & see everyone.

Jeff, how long of a trip is it for you?

I didn't know those other states had canyons as well. I think you will like Palo Duro.

Nine hours, dude......... Probably won't be in camp until mid-morning Friday. I have to work all day Thursday and I can't pull off a 9-hour all nighter anymore. We'll drive to OKC Thurs. night and find a place to pull off and sleep a few hours then come in.

I just called Palo Duro this morning (Mon.) & the lady in the office said there is no burn ban yet :D but conditions are getting worse :( . She said they only have a burn ban when the county judge issues one for the whole county. I guess we need to keep our fingers crossed. :worship:

Hi,
ladies and Gentlemen, This is Ruby I hijacked Ed's sign-on, We went out to the canyon this morning and every thing looks good. Woody if they do decide to have a burn ban it will be because of the wind,it is bad today but suppose to be better tomorrow, so keep fingers crossed.
i enjoy taking care of family and you guys are family. So we will have Frito Pie Thursday evening and BBQ sandwiches with baked beans and potato salad Friday. Everyone is invited. We are so ready to see every one. Please excuse typingI am using one hand to type and balancing an eight month baby with the other and trying to keep an eye on our soon to be 3 year old great grand son. We will see you soon.
