War Pony, Texas Parks will not reserve a specific site so what we do is print a list with the names and reservation number of everyone arriving Thursday and turn it in to the park office Thursday morning. Then Friday morning turn in a list of Fridays arrivals. When you get there just tell the park attendents that you are with the South Central Teardrop group and they always do their best to keep us close together. Unfortunely cell phones will not work down in the park. If you need to use your phone you can drive back up to the top and as you get close to the entrance you can get service again . Looking forward to seeing everyone in 2 to3 days, Ed & Ruby

 :?

I just about had a heart attack last night. I went to Reserve America's website to double check my reservation....and there was nothing reserved in my name.
:x

Turns out they are working on their software...my reservation is fine.
:phew:

See ya'll in a couple of days!!

Gary and I are going to be there on Thursday ... in the early afternoon.
Getting ready to leave ... in the rain and thunderstorms. Hopefully some of the rain we have been getting will be down there too ... but not during our outing!!! Trudy

Lenny and I are leaving Texarkana Thursday. Our reservation is for Friday and Saturday. It's possible we'll be there Thursday (depends on how early we get going and how the weather is). I'm at work; my thinking ability has come to a screeching halt, and I feel like my head is about to spin off my body. I NEED SOME TEARDROP TIME!!! :x

I am thinking about hitting the road Thursday afternoon, and staying in Childress for the night. That way, I cut my Friday driving down to about 3-ish hours on Friday, so I'm not worn out when I get there.

Sounds like every one is getting ready for the road. :applause: Rockingrobin, and everyone coming Thursday we will have fixings ready for Frito Pie at about 5 or 5:30 until everyone is finished. We know everyone will be arriving at different times, so we will have things ready so you can relax and visit a little. Can't wait to see all of you guys and girls. Also same for the BBQ Friday evering 5 or 5:00 until finished. See you soon Ed & Ruby
