I'm not a big steak griller, but I bought a couple of them today and I want to grille them this weekend.

If you start with good steak, and cook it right, there is no need to tenderize it. I sprinkle Kosher salt and black pepper on my steaks before grilling. That's it.
I personally favor Ribeye, as do most steak obsessed people. Then, cook it fast over high heat, and do not DARE turn it with a fork. Tenderloin is tender, but lacks flavor. Sirloin has good flavor, but is generally not tender -- unless you marinate it till it doesn't taste like steak anymore.
I love steak, and can't afford to eat at good steak houses (and Outback is NOT a good steakhouse). So, I learned how to cook it myself the way the real pros (who do NOT work at Outback) cook steak.
But, most of all, the old computer saying, "garbage in, garbage out" also applies to steak. Buy smart, eat well.

PS: Did I mention that Outback has the worst steaks I have ever eaten?
