Help from fellow Mozilla Firefox users (Photobucket/Zazzle)

Postby Jst83 » Tue May 18, 2010 8:59 pm

I'm having a heck of a time getting a few sites to let me upload photos to them one being my photo bucket and our zazzle store.
I can upload to my T & TTT and tearjerkers albums and my picasa album with no trouble.

I believe I've checked all the correct settings in the tool options, I believe it's probably something on my comp security that's not allowing me to upload.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :worship:

Do you have a funky add-on or download? Sometimes they mess me up. I use photobucket all the time w no problem. Do you use flashblock? Maybe you need to click through on the flash programing to see the graphic??

I love FF, but with some sites I just have use give in and use Microsoft Explorer. Oh well.

I have not had a problem with Zazzle, I have however had a problem with Firefox every now and then hogging CPU to the point of virtually bringing the computer to halt.

Scott,

You might want to test your uploads with IE. I've found that some sites write their code so that it only works with IE.

it used to work in Firefox, can't get IE to open on my comp. that's why I think it might be in a security setting on my comp.

Is it trying to install an addon before you do your upload?

That's the the way mine is set.

Nope just tried it again on photo bucket it says

"Image upload failed
Upload failed for 100_2567.JPG with error: File not uploaded"

On the zazzle it just image failed to upload

Since I don't have Photobucket or Zazzle, I'm not going to be much help. Guess we have to wait for someone who has Photobucket or Zazzle AND uses Firefox...

OK at least I can upload now, I deleted internet explorer cause it wasn't working and re downloaded it so now it works and I can upload to both using it. Now I know it's something between my comp and Firefox guess they don't like each other. But I can live with using 2 browsers
