Can anyone identify this hook?

I used to be able to buy these from the Northern Hydraulics retail store, and the local military surplus....but no more. I'm not having any luck searching the Internet, because I don't know what they are called.

The loop is just the right size for a flat hook-style ratchet strap, and the diameter of the rod is small enough for a chain hook. I used to bolt them to the frame of all of my vehicles, for an easy spot to hook a tow chain in the winter.....but I'm down to my last two, and I'd like to find more....they are handy to have around.

They might be a military item, since Northern used to carry some surplus.
Any help would be appreciated....

You might google military surplus, and find a surplus dealer with an email. Just email them a picture and see if they can identify.
