What the freak am I doing.

I have been "working " its not work on La Tortuga for 2 years . I have always been in love with woodworking but La Tortuga took me out of my comfort zone. What is the point of doing anything if it doesn't challenge you. If I wasn't building my teardrop I would be building something else thats what I do..I have designed tools worked with arcs and radius's that you don't find in most wood projects. I have had a couple of friends tell me I could have bought one. They are right.Truthfully I don't even need a teardrop nobody really needs one. I wouldn't swap my shop time for any teardrop on the market.

I have few real requirements of my t/d.

It should be easy to tow and move around and be reliable.

It should keep me dry when it rains.

I should be able to sleep in it comfortably.

I should have enough stuff to cook.

I'm not worried about winning prizes or impressing people, but t/d's tend to do that on their own without any help from me.

Make it solid and weather proof, and you will have a ball with it. And if you get overwhelmed, take it one small step at a time, but have a good plan.
