gluing fiberglass to...

Postby bfitz » Sat Jun 05, 2010 12:05 pm

So I just purchased some flexible fiberglass roofing from a trailer surplus center. The dude there suggested that manufacturers use a spray on adhesive for attaching it to the trailer. I'm not sure where to start with finding it. I'm learly to let it float as it's pretty flexible, but not too bad. Suggestions, knowing that...

-My roof is ply.
-My sides are an aluminum skinned ply (very thin AL and black...trying to avoid heat issues by using white roofing material).

thanks

I have some of the same materal from the same place and hope to use it as a out side wall covering, so I am interested in hearing what you use also. It seems more like sheet plastic. Bill
