LCG stopover Wednesday 10/27/2010 in Arkansas.

Postby Darren » Thu Jun 03, 2010 11:31 am

Not a caravan just a place to meet up for the night. Last year we stayed at Maumelle State Park, Arkansas and it was very nice. So far everyone I've talked to says to stay there again in 2010. I'm cool with that. Any other ideas?

Edited: I had the wrong date.

LCG? Linear Congruential Generator?
I don't know half of what you just said, but I really like Haw Creek falls. It's going to be empty in October.
No electricity or water though.

Gary - Is that Maumelle or LCG that you are planning on?

eatatjoz - Stay tuned and someone will eventually pull the trigger and make a reservation. Once that happens the rest of us jump on the open sites around them. Odd system but it works. You are more than welcome to come and camp. You should try to make LCG though. It is always awesome.

Jeanne - You were on the river side last year at Maumelle and I didn't even make it over there. Is is nice on that side? Hear any river noise at night?

Want the water side again...you all had flood water two foot deep...or at least some over there did....will again take potluck...usually we have no need for reservations at that time of year...any comments? Darren, wish I had of had river noise, but the rain would have drown it out anyway   Queenie

Sounds like you have it right Phil. My reservation is for Thursday to Sunday. I'll probably add another day once I get down there.
