Is there still room for more? I'm not gonna be able to make the NY gathering in a couple weeks and this would be my second choice of far away gatherings to hit.

Hope to, gotta get the wife's OK to go over Halloween.

Might have to stretch it a day one way or the other to make a trip into New Orleans. Haven't been there in a long time.

LCG should ALWAYS be your FIRST choice for a gathering! And don't you worry about room. This is, after all, LOUISIANA. There's always room for more at the party! So come on down!

...YEP, plus a few besides  ...that is typical of the way reservations have gone...the early birds(those in the know) get their sites early and the last handfull will be snatched up in the last month or so before the gathering by those who couldn't commit early......................

I've been lurking here for about a month now. Talked my husband into building me a teardrop. Hope to start buying supplies around the end of july if things hold out at work that long.
Was thinking of reserving a cabin at Lake Bistineau the weekend of the gathering if there are any out there that are willing to show off their tears....
We live in the Tyler/Longview area so Lake Bistineau would be an easy weekend for us.

Nope, won't happen, not in a million years.

Ours tears are built with the secrecy of a stealth bomber. If you saw one our tears in the wild we would have to kill you on the spot.

And if you believe that, I have some swamp land in Florida I'd like to sell you. Oil would be extra. :D

Talking your husband into building a Teardrop?? Good catch you are! And I see this is your first post! We tend to celebrate things here so I for one would like to welcome you and your family into the fold!
