Yep, there's not but a few of us in OKC ... Okiecamper, DrPhreak, Toytaco ... chime in y'all !!!!

Took me an hour and half to get to work across town . Rain came so fast and so much , about 9 inches in less than 9 hours so every low spot flooded on the highways etc.

One neighborhood at NW 178th & Western Ave near Edmond (north of OKC) has a creek running thru it and flooded out , water up to car windsheilds. Another bad intersection is/was about a mile east of my work , and flooded the roadway.
Lots of other places , mostly north of downtown or the north part of the city.

We're only about a 2 miles from Ski Island which was hit pretty hard and is being shown all over the local news. The creek that runs through the greenbelt right next to our house was overflowing the bridge and over the road. The creek got to within about 25 to 30 yards of the house but has gone back down now. Overall no problems for us personally. However I can't say the same concerning the hail storm a few weeks ago. Insurance company totaled one of our cars and the roof on our house.

I'm glad the TD lives in the garage.

I hope everyone else is OK.

We're okay here in Edmond. Had 32" of water in Whispering Creek Drive and came to within 3" of getting into our house - some got into the garage, no big deal there.

Thanks to all for thinking of us Okies!! ('')

Regards to all,

John and Cheryl
