We've been camping in the rig 6 nights. Gathering info on what could be improved or added. So here are a few photos and an update.


Finally decided on what to do with the battery and what box to use. I ended up with a 32" toolbox (on sale for $59 at Tractor Supply). I had to watch the height so I can clear the nose cone and I did not want a lot of storage room or I would fill it up.

The disconnect is between the battery and the WFCO converter. I can unplug the new 7 pin plug to isolate the tow vehicles battery. The board in the middle is mounted on a hinge so it folds away from the battery to ease getting the battery in/out.

It's a bit hard to see but I installed two vents into the sides of the box. I also have a trolling motor receptacle mounted in the driver's side just under the toolbox handle.

I added the slotted tubing to the back of the tongue jack for a solid mounting for stuff (perhaps solar in the future).


Ran my brake wires and backup lighting was installed at same time.


Figured out where I wanted a light in the front of the trailer - top dead center. So I pulled the front shelves out and installed it. I also added one shelf to the unit as well as a number of hooks to hang clothes on at night. A fire extinguisher and a shoe holder were added earlier.

Still have to figure out propane for the furnace and get the brakes installed.

Yes, and while it doesn't seem like it the time is short... they will be gone before you know it. This is the perfect opportunity to tell you of our oldest daughter riding her trike on the drive. After some time I noticed the pinstripes on the side of my truck were missing. Not all of them, mind you. After some investigation I found out she liked to peel them off. I still give her grief over that.

Ageless - hopefully by that age they are out on their own.

The top of the front wall behind the nose cone was already cut out when I purchased the trailer. I just tried to come up with a way to utilize that space.
