Just received this in my e-mail.....
Dear Ed and Becky Murray,
The Ecumenical Charity Program thanks everyone for the donation of food for the Food Pantry of the Charity Program. Without the support, donations and volunteers, the program would not be possible. During the month of April 2010, the Food Pantry was able to assist 155 households consisting of 135 children and 240 adults. In addition to food the Ecumenical Charity Program also assisted with energy costs, home repairs, transportation, rental costs, etc. Due to escalating costs in energy and food costs as well as job loses, the Ecumenical Charity Program is expending more monies this year than in previous years. The majority of those benefitting from the Ecumenical Charity Program are those individuals who work in restaurants, stores, motels, hotels, etc. They are working individuals in need. All those who work for, support and use the Ecumenical Charity Program are thankful for you donation.
Again we thank you for your donation. With your generous donation, The Ecumenical Charity Program is able to carry on with its mission of helping those who are in need.
Sincerely,
Judith A. Clausing-Lundin
Secretary
