I had to do the same thing...I chose to pay $17 and let the farmers rental place do it... ;)

Seems there is a surplus of unused farmers out there with all the corporate farms these days. Should be able to purchase one outright and keep it for less cost than renting.

You get a better tax deduction if you buy, or do a long-term lease.

Tube in a lawnmower tire? Thats why they make slime. Or for a more permanent setup, liquid rubber. Make it solid and you don't need to worry how big a hole you get.

The hardest part of putting a tube in ----you don't have enough hands.

Good luck,
Les

I have a 2 wheel wheelbarrow that has tubeless tires... which were always flat. I decided to put tubes in, and bought 2 tubes for 8" wheelbarrow tires. Had a helluva time to put them on, everytime I filled them the valve would slide into the rim. Finally I returned them and bought 2 8" trailer tubes and put them on. They worked perfectly.
Seems the wheelbarrow tubes have the valves dead center on the tubes, and the trailer tubes have the valves offset to one side..... which is where the hole in the rim is.........
