Wow, your grandfather worked for Murphy Coachworks. I have photographed a few Murphy bodied cars. Too bad he didn't leave one to you, you could retire off the car's value. Murphy Coachworks did a custom bodies for everything from Bentleys and Duesenbergs to Mercedes and Packards.
In modern culture terms, that would be a little bit like working for Chip Foose.
I see he also worked with John Tjaarda of Lincoln Zephyr fame.
