Did I have any liability in lending lawnmower to a neighbor?

I do not worry about being sued, just being nice to people. If it helps someone out, and I trusst the kid, I would lend it. Life is way too short to be worring about everything I do or say.

I think it depends on the kid. I personally would have to know the kid and the parents before I would lend anything of mine to them. Some times you have a mature 10 year old and a immature 15 year old. I'm all for the kid doing yard work but I wouldn't lend him the lawn mower cause I don't know him.

Thanks everybody for the the input I sometimes like to bounce my thoughts off another wall other than my own.
I think it's mostly about listening to that little voice that gives pause. I find it's usally right Thanks again.Dan
