Greg,

Is this one your teardrop with the drop floor? Regardless, I can't to see what your latest creation is.

2bits wrote:Hmmm Tom, If it were me going by your list, I would prioritize...

1. Doors. you gotta have doors and they are the most complicated.
2. Lights. They are easy and you could even rig up temp lights for a gathering
3. AC. This is obviously important especially since it looks to be a long summer but with the petcool, you might be able to just sit it outside on the ground and run a cool air duct in and be done with it.

(Note fenders were not even on the list LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL)

Thomas,

Doors are next on the list. They are about 3/4 made, but they've been sitting around for about a year now. I clamped them together so hopefully they haven't warped too much.

I just need to decide what type of lockset to use, then I can skin them with 1/8" plywood and aluminum. And of course, add edge trim, mortise for the locksets, align the hinges, build the interior door seals, etc.

HEHE OH YEAH... You're in the details section now alright! Don't forget windows too! Nice that you already have them mostly built tho!

caseydog wrote:Hey, Woody has a great idea for Saturday dinner.

Our pavilion at Loyd Park has a huge grill. Why not cook up a bunch of steaks (and/or chicken, if needed) and have people bring sides for Pot Luck.

We could have everyone pitch in a little cash, and buy a large quantity of meat, and a few of us who love to grill can cook it all up.

What do you guys think?

I know I derailed this thread. Let me see if I can get it back on track.

CD had a good idea for a cook out. What was the consensus? (My vote is yes.)

We gotta keep you away from the charcoal starter. I don't want Steak a la BP.

We'll probably have multiple cooks working the different meats and whatever else we cook.

Tammy talked to Scott & Gerri yesterday and they will be able to join us at Loyd Park. I've got them down for a spot and we still have one available.

Can I speak up for that last spot? :)

I'm not sure that Tinycamper-as-of-yet-un-named will be totally done, but she should at least be painted by then and worst case, I'll put an air mattress and sleeping bag down. :P

Picking up on Thursday!

Changer, I'll mark the last spot for you. If you could send $36.00 to the address in the first post of this thread and I'll mark you paid when I recieve it. Glad you can make it. BTW what part of Texas are you coming from?

Looks like a pretty good project you're gonna have with your TTT. Good Luck.

I'm in Lancaster- I'm only about 20 minutes from Loyd Park, which is one of the reasons I'm relatively confident that the camper will be usable by then. :P I won't even have to drive it on the freeway to get there. :P

Hey Woody, do you still have any spots available?
Holy cow, Rose is a teenager now! Done? Surely you jest. A teardrop is never "done".
