My eBay Item is Gone in 60 Seconds...

Postby caseydog » Tue Jul 20, 2010 3:42 pm

Well, sort of.

I listed my 4-year-old 24-inch iMac on eBay with a starting bid of $200, and a "Buy it Now" price of $600. I figured it would sell for 400-500 bucks.

Minutes later, I get an email from eBay saying my item sold for the "Buy it Now" price.

I'm not sure whether to be happy that it sold fast for more than I expected to get, or whether to kick myself for not asking a higher price.

Oh well, I'll go with "happy."

Hey - If you were going for the quick sale - then you did it, or you could have a dead auction and STILL have it taking up space :D
