No problem, seems like a simple fix to the problem though, and cheap also..

Seriously though glad it helped you out, Saved you some cash and some headache, Just clean up the inside of your coupler good, lube it on the pivots and you should be good to go.

Our trailer is a Late 60's early 70's one that was originally a camper, the coupler is in good shape for its age, i just keep the inside of it well lubed and have not had any problems from it.
