I am driving in town.. on a busy road..and I hear a siren.. and having been hit by an ambulance before.. I pay attention to that sound now. I turn onto another road.. and keep watching.. then a motorcyle pulls in behind.. a ways back... then I see the ambulance coming from behind also.. I pull over.. the motorcycle keeps coming.. The ambulance gets pretty close behind it.. and the bike starts to pull over.. and then decides to pull in behind me... except there is not much room... she was fish tailing all over trying to stop.. and did make it. I was prepared to hit the gas.. I did not want to go to soon.. in case she changed her mind to go around..

You've been hit by an ambulance? :o

ahh yeah.. It totaled my car..

We had 2 travel lanes in either direct.. and center lanes to make left hand turns.. there were vehicles like an oil truck and a schoolbus .. and others in these turn lanes.. I was following cars through a green light.. and the next think I know I have an ambulance bearing down on me.. He was coming the other way.. hidden behind the bus.. etc.. and turned left if front of me.. :o :o

my skidmarks were like a check mark.. skidding forward until impact.. then back the otherway.. quite some distance..

Why yes of course! We went to the harbor and watched about six bald eagles pluck fish from the harbor - they sure are impressive birds

No, he isn't. OK, well not that he's hideous, but I mean that was not a factor.

Has it ever really been "on?"

we didnt paint today...
we cleaned the garage instead.. the folks got one of those big honkin roll off dumpsters and we tossed stuff for 5 hours.
The garage has not been cleaned since I moved away from home some 20 years ago and my dad is a packrat with cats.. uuughhh.....
I counted no less than 25 5 gallon pails full of assorted CRAP which we mostly tossed... just alot of junk... good to have them to the point where they can sort and rearrange on their own.. the big stuff is moved.
