HF trailer question?

It's really all up to you. You may, with your growing family, opt for a larger TD. I don't think it'll cost too much more in the long run to build a bigger TD. Another thing to remember, that long before you're finished with the TD it will be "Campalbe" if there is such a word. You know what I mean. The interior might not be complete, but you certainly can use it for camping.

We already have a bigger camper that we built, we want a teardrop for the times its just the 2 of us, also to use for hunting trips without taking the larger camper ..

I would wait until you get the trailer kit, assemble it first and then build 'up' from there - I would recommend welding the trailer frame together after you get it assembled and all the bolts tightened . . . . you won't believe how much more rigid that will make the chassis and that's especially important if you're going off-roading with the completed trailer

Trying to build the trailer first and *then* put it on the frame could lead to all sorts of problems
