Hello From Nevada

Postby DLT » Tue Jul 27, 2010 2:48 pm

Today, after much research, my wife and I ordered a Lil Guy 6' Platform with power package and sink/stove combination. We had pretty well researched trailers, and determined that we'd really like the extra width for the comfort of us and our two canine companions. The Lil Guy seems to fit all of our needs, and seems a good value for money.

Believe it or not, I never even been in a TD, but feel that I've gotten a good feel for them through my research.

Looking forward to learning a lot on this forum, and I thank the mods for having such a congenial site.

Best,
Dwayne

So, another from Nevada! I think you are in LV, right? Got several Td'ers down there already, Joanne (desertdawg) and Ken (ken fincher) to name two. Consider the Glyphs in September, it's not to far and pretty much the only gathering in Nevada!

Thanks for the kind greetings!

Is Hilltop fairly quiet? We tent-camped at Mc Williams, and it turned out to be party central, with kids running through our campsite and loose dogs attacking my mutts! Also, the bathroom facilities were not working.

Hopefully, we'll have our TD in a couple of weeks, and just might try to get up there.

On another subject, who does good hitch work in LV? I was quoted over $700 from camping world, and thought it was way too high!

Yikes!

Just got word that our trailer will ship the week of August 9, so there's a chance we can make it up there. We might just drive up for the day if the trailer hasn't arrived.

Thanks!
