That is exactly how I used mine the first few times, then I "finished" it, as if they ever are

Can anyone answer a dumb question for a newbie?

My wife and I have reservation for a site for LCG V. Can my stepson and his fiance tent-camp at the same site with us?

Thanks, Tom

Tom, that is not a problem as far as the campground management goes BUT there are 2 r 3 sites which don't lend themselves to "off pad" tenting...in those cases, you may havvta use the deck for the tent and the asphalt for the tear.............

They are definitely cool about doubling up. I don't know about here, but there may be a small charge per extra person over 2 people per site. Some places are like that, but nothing to worry about.

They let an extra teardrop stay with me on my site year before last.

Some spots are bigger than others, depending on if you have a deck.
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

Setting a tent up on one of the wooden decks works very well, in fact. I did it for LCG3, and it made a nice flat place to set up.

I asked about freinds putting up there tent on my spot when I talked to the park office. They told me it would'nt be a problem.
Only two spots left to reserve. I'm sure they like to pack the park out. The more its used the better chace it will get state money and continue operation. And the more improvements that can be made.

The staff at Bisteneau love us. We fill the park in the off-season, we feed the whole staff at pot-luck, and we're just plain nice people -- well, mostly.

You won't have any problem pitching a tent in a site with a teardrop.

Pretty much anything goes on the pot-luck. With this many people, planning is impossible. Don't make too much work for yourselves -- we eat anything that tastes good.

As for the basic plan? Walk around and look at the campers, hang out and talk, eat, drink, sit around the campfire, drink, tell stories (true and otherwise), eat, drink, nap, laugh, hike, eat, drink -- you get the picture?

There is a halloween decorating contest, if you are so inclined to dress up your site to scare.

We also like to eat and drink at LCG.

Did I miss anything?
