New, waiting for TD arrival

Just took the plunge and my husband (DLT) and I bought a teardrop sight unseen. We settled on a Little Guy 6 wide to accomodate us and our 2 canine companions. Looking to break it in at Mt Charleston since it's so close to us and we can get a feel for towing it on the Freeway and up a mountain. Any one going to be at Mt Charleston weekend of the 20th?

Hear there's a DO feast weekend of the 13th but I don't think we'll have our TD by then. Might just come up for the fun of it. Which campground will you be at? If we want to try cooking a prime rib roast, what would we need? I only have a smaller cast iron pot. Do I need to scour Good Will for a bigger one?

Really looking forward to meeting you folks and see what your TDs before we start tricking ours out. Oh boy, what fun!!!

Welcome to the playground and congratulations on your LG 6-wide. There are many applications where that extra foot in width is a Godsend and yours is one of them. You will find it very comfortable for the dogs to be between you or whatever side you want them on. LG officially classifies the 6-wides as fitting 3 people. I've always maintained that to realistically mean to adults and a child.
