Hey Paul... Hey Lisa...

well I got a load of wood hauled out of the abyss.. and I had had a smallish maple come down on the trails a while back. I had cut it up.. but the wood was still there. I have gone to get that.

There is still some pine down in the abyss.. I may not haul that out. I have to carry it up over a hill by hand.. pine is not real valuable fire wood. [most people don't use it at all] and I have sooo much wood ahead.. and much other work to do.. soooo it might get left there..

I am not sure what's next..

Helluva commute though.

I think I will take a day off the bike..

we were just looking at the new deck project.. and thinking there....

I also mowed where the deck had been sitting on the lawn.. Perhaps raking... or a trip to Freeport [shopping] or maybe even a nap...

I am looking forward to finally closing on this place.. but I am a little nervous about getting new neighbors.. I could end up with someone like....

Dave... Or :frightened: Johnny.. he might start wandering the yard naked...

If Lisa.. I would have to be nicer to her on here.. she would definately be in shovel range... :NC

you guys would probably go insane.. toooooo quiet. the background noise this morning consists of locusts buzzing and nothing else. nobody is even mowing grass. no traffic noise, no yelling nothing.. quiet... I was at a buddys place east of here in the country last summer, hes out in the sticks. it was so quiet you could hear your heartbeat..if it wasnt for breathing it would be perfectly quiet.. BUT those are rare days with no wind, hard to come by here

a nap is a possibility here...
I should fab up a new hitch for the riding mower, should go down to the folks and pick up 10 gallons of waste oil and get my lawn sweeper that they seem to have laid claim to.

I got some one in one of the new houses up the street.. that seems to have just gotten gun happy.. he is shooting like crazy.. much of it very rapid.. it seems he is just trying to go through as much ammo as he can... or to just piss the neighbors off.

I get tempted to get out one of my dad's BIG guns.. and start shooting back... :D
