Newbie from Oregon

Greetings everyone! My name is Tyrel and I live in the beautiful pacific north west. I recently finished a 10 year stint with the military (4yrs Marines, 6yrs Army) and am now a full time student. I have been camping for most of my life but am new to any form of trailer camping. My father recently purchased a Little Guy teardrop and gave me his old T@B trailer. I will be using that to camp for now, but am very interested in trying to build my own teardrop. I am hoping that sometime next year (when the ol' budget lines up) I can get started on this project. It's a fairly ambitious project (as I do not have much building experience), but I'm hoping that with some fortitude and maybe some advice from the folks around here I can get it done.

Welcome, T-Bird!

Lots of folks have and love T@Bs, so if you decide to get rid of it you shouldn't have any problems. One nice thing about it, though, you can figure out what you like and don't like about the T@B, and what you like and don't like about the Little Guy, and you will have a head start on most folks on their first build!
