hmm I really did not feel to great last night. I did drink a bit before bed.. but my belly felt to full.. and I did end up getting a lot of leg cramps.. just rolling over.. and a muscle would go. :o :(

I am not sure what's up for today.. Perhaps the deck some.. but I need to take it semi easy.

We are expected to have some severe weather coming through later today also...

I have just taken care of all my used deck boards. they are set aside for future bridge work [trail bridges].

I am sweating buckets just doing that.. and I took it easy.. loading them on my tractors pallet forks...

It's early.. and the sun isn't out.. and only 78 degrees... can you say humid..

Well there is some one over working on the house.. scraping paint.

It is weird.. having someone else over there. If this sale goes through.. it is going to be weird having someone else there...

It's hot and humid here today too. Once I get out of work, I have to do a juggling act. Drive to PA, workout, cook dinner, get some Etsy work done. Ugh. I suppose I will get it all done, but I just don't like thinking about it.

yeah.. it sounds busy..

I have nothing I have to do...

I have no commitments with to ride..

I am not sure I am keeping up with my hydration even though it is not sunny..

hmm it is still 85.. not bad.. but warmer than I thought.

I just found out this new appraiser has not seen the cellar.. so she says do this and do that.. and she may not like the cellar.. and then say do this and that.. or just not pass it for the value.. :x

I can't believe people.. why tell us to paint it.. if you have not seen the rest of the house..

I am glad I am not painting it..

Have you tried using Endurolytes by Hammer. I started using them around mid June and have found that regardless of the heat I get no cramping and no Bonking. I might ride slower due to the weather, but my body doesn't get too stressed. I take two before I ride, then carry four with me, just in case, but find I seldom have to take any on the ride, unless it is a century ride

No I have not.. [but I will look into it] I did just start using Hammer's Heed... I am not sure that is working for me.. I seem to prefer the Recharge I was using.

Some of my problem.. is lately I have been doing a lot of other physical work.. in above normal temps for us. Then once my stomach gets upset.. it is hard to keep drinking enough... :(

I find the Heed can be rough on your stomach. I only use the orange flavour.
Something else you might want to try is to take your favorate fruit drink and mix your water bottles with 1/2 water, and 1/2 fruit drink.
I use V-8 Fusion (Mango and Peach) and water. Seems to work with me.

yeah.. I am using the orange Heed.. and find it semi harsh. The recharge is sort of a healthfood store Gatorade. It is diluted fruit juice.

The orange flavor.. what I have in front of me.. ingredients..

filtered water. white grape, orange and lemon juice concentrate.. natural flavor.. and sea salt.

I don't often drink enough while riding. Tuesday ride.. the last 12 miles.. we were at the front hammering.. trying to ride some racer boys off our wheel. My friend Greg... and one other were the only ones who hung..most of it. I did not ... could not drink.. working as hard as we were.

^ Hello, MB'er.

Fenlason the Mighty

I am not sure I am keeping up with my hydration even though it is not sunny..

My dear friend, I have been a part of this lil' threadpals group here for about a year. It seems to me that you may have been behind the 8 ball, hydrationwise, since I've known you. You've been making many comments about your hydration lately, which may be more proof that your body needs to catch up. You know the old saying, "if you're thirsty, it's already too late"... pls consult w/ a sports-specialized physician on the matter! (and I am one that does not normally intrude in this fashion...)

Those sweats you do are insane; I don't think you recover sufficiently. And as for not riding for three days, really? I've trained for and completed a century... I know you can double that easily... but the point is that towards the end of my three-month training schedule where I was riding 180 miles per week I had to take three days off for work reasons... overtime... and when I got back on the bike I felt SUPER strong!

Sometimes the body need 3 days! It's a natural cycle for many things...

Yeah, what Chris said.
You have been complaining an awful lot about it lately. It's not going to kill you. You don't have to be hardcore 100% of the time. We all already know you're a badass.
