Hey!
We were at Palo Duro the week after yall were!
The park rangers told us you guys had been there. Palo Duro was an awesome campground, we pulled our TD all the way across Texas, starting at Galveston Bay---We took 2 weeks and stayed in 6 different State Parks.

I have been dying to take Wifey to Palo Duro, Canyon City, and surrounding area since we met 12 years ago. Your thread just makes me want to do so even more. Thanks for sharing.

For those that think Amarillo has nothing to offer: I was TDY @ English field and trapped for a few months in the early '90's. There is SOOOOOOO much to see and do there! You have no idea what you might be missing.

...and if you happen into that part of the world, go to The Big Texan Steakhouse on I-40 for lunch or dinner. It can be a really fun experience.
