Can you rent a teardrop in Phoenix, AZ

Postby azthedog » Mon Aug 02, 2010 2:38 pm

To all my local Phoenicians, does anyone happen to know if there are any local RV rentals that might rent a teardrop? I did a Google search and found a couple of places in Tucson, but since I live in the PHX area, I would prefer something closer.

We have searched every teardrop site and RV in the valley and just took the plunge. It isn't like a boat (Bust Out Another Thousand). They keep well in the garage with room to spare. There are several to choose from and no matter what you start with, it is better than sleeping on the ground. I hope we never have to tent camp again. It is nice to swing your legs out onto a hard surface, rather than, doing so with your entire body and picking yourself up off the ground.

Try Craigslist. That is where we found our 'woody' for a song!

Yes, emiller, we have had this discussion and I contacted Ray about some of the construction techniques. It is well built and I found it on CRAIGSLIST for much less than his cheapest build. This was just a reminder that there are plenty of quality built units out there that people are willing to part with if you are patient enough. Thanks for the input.
