I know some people that used to race on quad skates. I wouldn't mind trying a pair of the quads with the 100mm wheels, but don't want to pay the price

Good morning kids!

Down another pound today. Wooo!!!

I took the kids into the city yesterday and we went to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. It was much different than I thought it would be. Lot's of fun. We have some pics, but they are on Em's camera, so I'll have to share later.

Corngrats on the continued shedding of the poundage, and we wanna see pics.

:eyebrows:

some people puzzle me :? Started a thread yesterday about my wife going to Bass Pro Shop with a shopping list and me not wanting to go, and all of a sudden it turns into a debate about the store itself, and whether or not I like to camp at all. Bit crazy if you ask me :R

swissarmygirl

Well, you should have known better than to get started on such a controversial topic.

:?

Pretty funny, Lisa.

MB'er, I too am not that big on fishing, but I love to camp. I live in the el Lay sprawl and am cut off from what's been going on in the rest of the country... until I drove an hour east and saw my first Bass Pro Shop.

It is an amazing place; it's the biggest log cabin on the face of the earth and inside it's Disneyland for sportsmen. Great selection of fishing and hunting gear... I didn't really have the time to go look at whatever camping gear selection they might have had; I was trying to expedite my wife's clothing "sale" shopping 'cause we had a party to get to back on our side of town. Point is, I never got to see the whole store.

The reason for our visit was to see Mike and Gabe from SoCalTeardrops' display of teardrop trailers out front of the store.

Hey! Johnny's back!

Hey Kids.. we are back.. did 105 miles today. The middle was a little rough.. my wife was having a hard time... but I slapped her out.... ahhh I mean.. she snapped out of it. We actually finished quite strongly.

It got quite hilly in the middle... and quite windy.. although most of it was quite scenic.. and we had a high percent of new tar...

I hope you drank something...

That's a good run, and a good average speed for an old guy like you.

:D

it was less than 90 degrees out.. so I did not need to drink...

Matt just wanted to take it easy.. sort of a 16mph pace.. but we seemed to do better faster than slower. I had to slow up and wait for him a bit.. and we rode around the town of Bingham a bit.. looking for a place to eat....

We were picking the average back up a bit at the end.. heading into the town of Fairfield.. with a tailwind finally... we were doing 34 in a 25.. seeing if we could get a ticket.. 8)

I'll old you..... :R :R
