The Paint guy said that "Clear Coat would not 'stick' to the high polished aluminum". So, no Clear Coat...

In stead, I coated the lightning with "Sharkhide"... (which was a touch streeky looking when dry). bummer!
But slightly streeky Sharkhide surely whips the snott out of "buffing the lightning" by hand,
for 6 hours, per side, every 6 months,
for THE - REST - OF - MY - LIFE!!!
