I was going to be real anxious to get to work this morning.. but Laurie woke me a little early.. and I need coffee first. still doing the half and half...

I will start on the deck.. and then at some point go back to gravel moving..

Good Morning, sir.

I've gotta jump into a big rig and drive an hour in each direction... and hopefully the return trip will be before there's too much morning rush hour traffic. Southbound 405 fwy in El Lay begins it's daily suck around that time...

STEEL CUT IRISH OATMEAL... mmmm...

I swear... this stuff gets better every time I eat it... It's stuff you actually have to cook, though, rather than just pour boiling water over then let sit.

Mmmm... MMM.

well I got double 2x4's along the house side of the framing.. and decking over that... hmm next is my 2x8 along the outer edge. I could do it.. but it might be easier with an extra set of hands.. :D

Perhaps it is time to go back to gravel moving.. :D
