Did 38km's today, must have been the hotest I have rode in this year. Had to stop in the village to rest and take on fluids and gels. Climb up Snake Road was tough and slow
Friends coming down to ride with me tomorrow so we should do some "rabbit" chasing.

Well, we did our ride again last night, but we skipped the hills. I ended up being a domestic for most of the ride but won both sprints
The second one was very close and the second place rider and my riding partner complained about traffic. Considering my job was to get her to the front, I guess she has a right to complain
Big ride this Sunday...not sure I can get out tomorrow though.

domestics winning sprints..

something smells fishy... 8)

on a lot of our older mountain bike rides.. we would end up on the road heading back to the shop.. and of course that would turn into a race.. I often would be the lead out.... not for anyone specific.. but just a sacrifice.. time trailing toward the line.

Of course sometimes I would jump miles early.. and try to come in alone.. :D It depended on who was there.. and how I was feeling..

Did 53km today. The 100km got cancelled  My training partner cancelled. I,m not suposed to ride by my self, but my wife and I picked a half way point and we met there. If I was too tired, she was going to drive me home, but everything was o.k. so I rode back.
They are starting to adjust my medication levels and I do feel more alert and stronger, but they won't take me off the blood thinners.

I have not ridden the last 2 days.. I feel like a slug.. we need to get out today... we just ate.. so will wait a bit.. I am not sure if we will do the road.. or trail...

well the wind have been picking up quite a bit.. so I decided for a mountain bike ride out back instead of the planned road ride. I have a really steep hill in a spot out there.. it was only recently that it has been ridden successfully... and actually so far I have been the only one to make it... although slowly.

I decided to take my seldom used big bike out.. put all my armor on.. perhaps over kill.... but I have it so why not.. and I did laps..

I climbed a nice tight single track getting to the hill... drop down it.. take a trail back to the single track.. climb back up.. and go again and again. I made the trip 11 times. I made it each time.. no dabs and no crashes the climb was a good workout.. and in lonq sleeves.. and tights.. armor and full face helmet.. hot. :sweaty:
