I was supposed to work 5 hours this morning and ended up working almost 7 - most of it in the rain and doing '$hit' jobs for the most part. It was like the boss just wanted to keep us out there in the rain for no apparent reason other than maybe to make everyone mad! He is a real dumbass if ya know what I mean.

Anyway, I am having lots of trouble with my back the last couple days also and it just makes me very tired all of the time too. I sat down to watch the local news on tv at noon and fell asleep for over an hour.

Been trying to get some things done around the house, but not very successful so far. I have to work at least 5hours tomorrow and then I am going to have 3 whole days off in a row. (Wife's birthday on Tues)! 8)

uhg, back probs can make a day seem to last forever. But when you find a comfortable spot, it's all over but the snoozin'. I feel for ya there!

Happy B-day to the missus :applause:

been too busy for my liking lately Kerry but I survived it lol. Got one of the sons married off last weekend, life is starting to return to a less frantic pace (thank gawd). Nothing like 7 house guests for the better part of a week to cut into the relaxing time!

For sure, houseguests will do that - no matter who or how long it seems.

Well we went to see our broker [he is one of the owners] and he talked me off the ledge... for now.

I was ready to say screw it... and just keep the darn house. The other broker is not very communicative.. and there are things they could have done better.. but... We are told everything is all set except for one more piece of paper.. that they need.

After there.... we headed to 3 different friends houses.. and no one was home...

So we are back..

and I need to run out and pick up my tools from earlier..

ok.. the rest of the wood is de-limbed.. and put on my ever increasing wood pile and the tools are taken care of.

I have a double 2x4 plate put under one side of my instant garage.. and a triple on the other [the ground slopes a little] There is enough flexibility in the frame that the actual width of the building can be "adjusted".

The one critical factor there is the end panels.. so I need to put those on before I finish fastening my wood sills together. I think that will be the next step.

Tomorrow we have a family get together.. :D
