New Fridge

Postby southpennrailroad » Sat Aug 14, 2010 8:56 pm

I originally purchased a cube type fridge but found that was useless. Instead I just bought a taller 33" one with a better freezer and have much more room in my cargo trailer. Weird that I re organized with a larger fridge and now have more floor room as well.I also built overhead storage box for cloths and sheets as well. Maybe that was what did it.

Here is the new fridge and it fits perfect in the old food storage spot I had built years ago. No work to p;ace it here. :applause:

The next project is to install a pull out table just in the face of the 1x4 above the fridge to build a removable was basin for cleaning the dishes when closed in.

I'm going to install one that size in my VW. The one I'm looking at has a separate door for the freezer. My thinking is that will keep more cold in. Am I wrong?

Probably but mine has a drop down door on the freezer and I have no problem of things thawing when I open to get things out. And yes I thought about the larger one as well but this is perfect for me.
