Relaxing Around the T&TT Family Campfire (Part Deux)

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

well back from that trip..

some groceries. mending plates for those 4x4's.. a big tarp.. to help with picking up the mulch.. and to use on the shelter floor.

I did test the mill felt.. and it is not impervious to water..

ahhh it is late enough in the day now.. that I may not have enough time to get the mulch.

My lumber yard has it much cheaper than just up the road.. $14 a yard.. vs $15.. for a scoop.. which they guess to be less than half a yard...I need about 4 yards.. so it will be worth the drive.

Well the lumber yard was all out of the $14 dollar mulch.. and only had a little of the $20.

It is a bit of a drive.. and I decided to stay with the place up the road. When I went to pick it up.. I saw the outside fireplace I wanted.

We had been thinking of one.. and looking around... they had a nice one.. but it was $299... and at the time I was not really ready for it. Well it got moved and marked down..to $199... so I brought Laurie in to see it. She liked it also... We did not buy it then.. for one we were heading somewhere and did not have the truck... so I went back.. and it was not there... It was not anywhere....

Well they polished the copper on it.. and marked it down to $99.. so paying a little more for mulch.. was worth it...

hey glenn, I meant to tell you something. At my son's wedding there was a quote of Kahlil Gibran's read during the ceremony. Can't remember it exactly but it fit the couple well I thought at the time. I couldn't help but think of you lol.

We finally picked what we wanted.. then never went.

We are almost up for new phones. Chris and Em's started acting funny some time ago. Just recently my buttons started double and triple dialing. We have to wait til the 29th for our new ones and all the new ones look more complicated than what I want.

The phone would not be for people to reach me easier.. it would be for me to call. If I get in trouble working out in the woods.. or we break down on the motorcycle... that type of thing..

Although most often when we "miss" not having one.. is on the way home from a bike ride or snowshoe.. and we want to pick up food.. it would save us a little time... but as I said.. we have not been motivated to go get one..
