Sorry for the delay Woodbutcher. The vents were purchased from Austin Hardware in '07 but I can't put my hand on the invoice currently. The catalog I have doesn't have a date but is probably old and has the vents like I used on pg 428.

Hey, thanks for the info. Don't spend any time looking. If I remember right someone here reported that Austin went out of business. Maybe if anyone knows for sure they could verify that.

Don't know about Austin.

That looks like the exact same thing as in big trucks. I have four in the sleeper area and with a fan blowing air to the two cab, window screens; I can create a slight breeze. Remember though, I am talking about a 7' high by 86" wide area and a small 6", 110v fan.

If, you put the same type in a TD, a fan would truly draw some air thru...

Looks good.

Good call on the vents. On my TD, I put an adjustable vent in the wall at the foot of the bed into the fresh air intake box for the air conditioner. It works great with the fantastic vent for cooling when there is no power for the air conditioner. It also allows some of the interior air to be drawn out, and helps eliminate short cycling of the ac unit.

You can get them at: http://stepvanparts.com/ Click on "step van parts store", the scroll down and click on "vents and fans", and finally click on "side vents".

Their website navigation is a little cumbersome, but their service is great. Besides the side vents, they have latches, door handles, and a lot of other products that can be used on TDs and TTTs.
