I too am planning on hitting the hay as soon as it gets dark and me eyelidz become too heavy... lately that's been right around 9:15...

Shaun! Those're 6-foot forks. The reason I wasn't all the way under that particular piece in the pic was that there was construction nailed to the floor directly behind it. The thing weighed less than 300 lbs.

Looks like Chris has a 'forked up' job there!

Indeed.

It is turning out to be one of the better assignments I've had in the 6 years I've been with the company. Just the right blend of mental concentration-rich machine operator tasks, other truck driving and then simply messing about (although today I was busier than the proverbial one-legged man at an arse-kicking contest).

Back in the day - I used to work as a mechanic for a construction equipment rental canter - we'd rent out fork lifts all the time - For Fun we'd rig up a platform and raise it up about 25 ft and hang upside down from it

I'm back. This is the last time I take two weeks off you guys went and broke the thread. It looks like I got a whole lotta catch-up to do. Sorry I couldn't keep in touch while in the boonies of Washington state the inter-webs was all wonky out there and I gave up trying to connect. :disappointed: But I'm here now and I got pics.
Unfortunately I forgot my camera most of the time except for when I went to Seattle.

Heres a Pic of the Seattle sky line.

Heres the Space Needle.

Heres a pic of Pike's Market.

I tried to get a pic of them throwing the fish but I was too late.

I ate at the restaraunt at Pikes Market where they filmed Sleepless in Seattle.
Image

Then we went into this really cool antiques mall place and I found this Lantern. Too bad I couldn't pack it back with me.
