Good Morning Doug.. Nothing yet.. I know the rims you have are artillery rims by name .. I have a set but they are 200 kilometers away.
Im going to fetch them this coming weekend. And we,ll see if they fit. And they are 6 bolt too.

Another alternative we looked at was to take the hubs into the machinist that redid the rims on our "Loong Build" known as the Lil Swan. And either make hubs that are 5 bolt pattern with new bolts.

I checked the company you mention also and man are they nice rims that they carry.

I,ll keep you posted Doug. Thank You for your replies. Really appreciate it.

That side window has a polished alum frame. It only looks black.

Nope, Crosley was American made back in the 50's. The production didn't last very long. America just wasn't ready for a small compact car (750 cc engine). Dad use to race a Crosley Special (but not with 12" wheels). ;)

Doug

Since youve built and had many a tear.. and also with Kit style fenders.
What size of tire can I go with ? I do have one set of Grants Kit Fenders for one of the tears.

I plan on redoing one with the fenders that came with the above and on the other Kit I,ll use Grants fenders. Here the tire must be inside the fender edge. BUt I want to go with some real nice wide white wall tires.

So on your beautifully built Voyager what size of tires are with them artillery rims? Also what is the width of them wide whites?

Heikki...those wheels are 15x5" I got them with a bare finish and had them powder coated to the color I wanted. I'd like to get the spokes on the wheel pinstriped for that ultimate vintage high end look, but haven't found anyone to do that....they are killer when striped up. Tires are P205 75R15's American Classic 2.5" WW from Coker.

If when all is said and done, the fender is too wide for the look you want, you can always cut them down like I did on the Voyager. Same process would work on the Kit fenders, just a bit more work.

I've used that size wheel on the other trailers that I've built with the Kit fenders...it's a taller tire and fills out the opening better than a lower profile ride, but that's just my opinion. Doug
