First time as a newbie

Postby TXDeerHunter » Sat Aug 21, 2010 9:50 pm

Hello from Dallas, TX. i am so new to this forum and will try my best to gather info and tips how to do my future cargo trailer interior construction. I am a self employed architect doing some home designs and some freelance commercial work as well.

I was born deaf and being in TX all my life. I love the TX wildlife and camping atmosphere where I go. I am an avid deer hunter and thought I would build my own cargo trailer instead of sleeping in tent or camper on my truck haha.

Please be patient with me if I ask stupid or out of the blue questions regarding to my time working on future cargo trailer. Wish me all the good luck and will post new pics when I start it. You may see my sketchup design of the cargo trailer which I may continue to keep that way when I start out.

Take care and see u around.

Don :)

Hi TxDeerHunter,

Welcome to T&TTTs!

Cargo conversions seem to be getting more popular
with those who have a strong enough TV. Some advocate
an all Aluminum cargo as a base if it can fit in the budget.

You've a nice concise design I think.

Interesting variation on converting gaucho into bed.

One of these days I need to go visit some relatives down in
the TX hill country (Fredericksburg area). It's been awhile
since i was last there.

Good luck as you start your future cargo conversion.

Welcome Don,

There are many us here in the Metroplex.

Your design looks really well thought out even though I have issues with the front logo.

Please camp or stop by Loyd Park. (We'll probably be tent camping because our teardrop won't be finished by then.)
