Christina (& All)!

Easter weekend 2011 (April 22-24) is the weekend before the 18th Dam Gathering (April 28 - May 1), so I will definitely NOT be heading for Hickison that weekend ... if Y'All want to go out anyway, have at it (it'll probably be a little bit warmer than the 12º we had this year ... :snowstorm: ...!). Could break tradition and go with the Apr. 1-3 weekend if anyone is interested ... but remember, bring LOTS of cold weather gear and FIREWOOD! And ... our new best friend ... PROPANE!

CHEERS!

Anyone interested in another caravan-of-tears ... ...? Could meet Thursday morning at Old Station, CA, again ... or a bit later 'round Sparks, NV.

Thoughts & constructive comments?

If you decide on Sparks, I'd suggest Scheels as a meeting point. Right next to I-80 and its so big you can't miss it.

I-80 at Exit 20, Sparks Blvd for the record.

Well, I am working now. Pushing a huge green beast through grain fields. I am back threshing grain again. I thought I had put that behind me over 10 years ago. But wow have the machines changed. I got a brand new Johny popper, top of the line with 32 foot header, GPS self steer. Been putting over 100 acres of irrigated wheat through it the past few days after we got it dialed in. Nice cab. I swear more buttons and display screens than an F16. Crips, it even has a CD player. Not like the old days. Fortunately. One day I spent 10 hours in the seat and never stood up once.

So, I am going to try to make it to the glyphs this fall. Have told the guy i want those days off.

See you all sometime.

Randy: Congratulations on the job! :applause: Somehow I can see you sitting on a tractor much better than I can see you answering tech questions in a cubicle in a windowless room... ;)

But, sorry to say, someone else will have to stop and get the shrimp this year, Cathy and I have had one of those obligatory events come up (and I gota get dressed up... )

Have a great time everyone!

Gotta get dressed up???? How terrible.

At least I have to get dressed up. But I can't drink or smoke and keep down the cursing a bit. I am working for an LDS owned farm.

Regarding the teardrop caravan ... right now, we're talking about meeting up and spending Thursday night at the RV park & Campgrounds in Janesville, CA, several miles east of Susanville, CA, so all the folks from Jefferson State and points north won't have to drive the whole distance in one day. So far we have me, Kay, Jerry & Donna, and maybe Bob T. in the caravan ... anybody else care to join us?

The caravan last year was great fun, and it's always a blast to travel in a group ... ...!

Chime in, people ... we've got lots of room!
