First registered in January 1961 by our Grandparents when they traded in their old camper for this brand new one. The trailer has been in the family ever since. When the Grand Parents got too old to travel with it they gave it to my in-laws. In 1998 my in-laws gave it to my wife and I.
I use it in the winter to go hunting every year. During the summer we use it to go camping. It has seen a lot of time in the woods.
Over the last couple years I have been building the 1950 Chevy truck. Just a few months ago I welded in a hidden hitch behind the roll-pan. So now I want to restore the trailer to match my rat rod with a Route 66 theme inside.
It has electric lights, battery lights and a propane lamp over the dining room. On board water, sink, 3 burner stove, oven, plenty of closet space, and a fridge.
Front dining area converts into a bed that sleeps two. Rear couch converts into a bed that sleeps two. It has electric brakes (came with them in 1961)

Bill
edit: I added some pictures into this thread
My truck was named "The Fat Rat" by friends, so when I finally got the 50 and the 61 hooked up together I named the trailer "The Rat's Nest" I have a picture of a fat rat holding two smoking guns that I want to airbrush on the trailer.

I added some satin black to the bottom of the trailer for a car show at the lake.
