Hi from New Orleans

Hi,
I've been lurking on here for a couple months. I found the sight through the a Gypsy Caravan site to Steve Cox's "Little Gypsy" . I was really planning on building a Vardo of some sort, but my uncle donated a pop-up frame to the cause. :) I think it will work better with a canned ham design.
There seems to be a lot of good info on here. I've been reading non-stop since I found the site. :) I have a few other projects to finish before I start another one.
I'm hoping to start building after Mardi Gras. Should get to work some overtime then and have some start up $$ to work with.
There is some beautiful craftsmanship and some great ideas to learn from on here. I hope I'm able to do as well.
Since everyone says they like pictures, here is one of my donor trailer. It was my grandparents, and has been in the family since before I was born. The family all seemed happy it would get a second chance. A tree fell on it and broke the roof in '95. \

Looking forward to building!
Rosey

Hi Rosey,

Are you sure you don't need a Vardo? 8)

Steve, Nope, I'm not sure I don't need a Vardo. Looks like everyone builds numerous trailers, so maybe that'll be project #2, hmmm or maybe #3. The trailer is 6'6 wide by 6'6 long. I think I might add a couple of feet to it. Can't wait to get started :)
Madprinter, Thanks for the welcome! I have been thinking about trying to make it up to LCG. I'm supposed to work that weekend. I might try to get off, it looks fun :)
